Proof of work

A staff work proof app: a photo back for every job.

“Done, sir” on a call is not proof. In Task Bundals a piece of work can ask for a photo, a file, a link or a number, and the staff member sends it from a link on their own phone. A manager looks at it and approves it. Staff install nothing.

Two screens

One page to send it. One page to check it.

The person doing the work sees a single page with big buttons. The manager sees what came back, with fixed checks already run on it.

What the staff member sees

One page behind a link. “Take a photo” opens the phone’s camera; the photo is attached to that piece of work.

Approvals

The proof arrives with fixed checks already run. A manager presses Approve or Send back.

What you can ask for

Five kinds of proof on a piece of work.

You choose the proof when you give the work. Write “photo” in the line, or tick the box.

Photo. “Take a photo” opens the camera on the phone. More than one photo can be added.
File. A PDF, Word, Excel or PowerPoint file, or a picture, up to 8 MB each.
Link. The person pastes a web address, for work that lives online.
Number. A count, a reading or an amount, with a lowest and a highest allowed value. A number outside the limit is shown to the person before they send it, and to the manager after.
Tick lines. Short lines the person ticks before sending.
What happens next

Checked by rules, decided by a person.

When proof arrives, fixed checks run: is a photo attached, was it sent before the due time, is the number within its limits. Each shows as Pass or Fail. Then a manager presses Approve or “Send back”.

Sent back is not lost. The manager writes what to redo, and the same link opens again with that note at the top.
Late is counted as late. Proof approved after the due time is counted as done late, not as done on time.
Every step is kept. The task page has a trail of what happened, and it cannot be edited by anyone.
Plainly

What it does, and what it does not.

A photo shows that something was done. It does not replace the person who looks at it.

What it does
Asks for proof with the work: a photo, a file, a link, a number with limits, or lines to tick.
Opens the phone’s camera from the “Take a photo” button on the work page.
Runs fixed checks on what comes back and shows each as Pass or Fail.
Keeps a trail of every step of the task, which nobody can edit.
What it does not do
It does not judge the photo. A manager looks at it and decides.
It does not stamp a location on a photo, and it tracks nobody in the background.
It is not a phone app. There is nothing in an app shop to download.
It does not send the link by itself. A manager shares it from their own number.

Questions about proof of work

On a task: a photo, a file, a link, a number with limits, and tick lines. On a checklist line: a tick, a number, a photo, a file, a line of text, or one choice from a few.
No. The work page says so on the page itself: it does not take or track location. Location is taken only at an attendance punch or a visit tap, and only if the phone allows it.
No. There is no phone app. A staff member opens the link they are sent, and it opens one page in the phone’s browser.
Press Send back and write what should be redone. The same link opens again for the person with your note at the top.
